Primary Recruitment

What Is Primary Recruitment?

Primary Recruitment is the formal recruitment process that takes place towards the beginning of the fall semester. Recruitment occurs over four separate days: Open House, Philanthropy, Sisterhood, and Preference. On Open House every potential new member will meet every chapter on campus. During Philanthropy, chapters speak to potential new members about their chapter's specific philanthropies and how they give back to the community, Sisterhood focuses on the sisterhood aspect of sorority life, and how chapter members support and grow with one another. Preference is the final day of recruitment, where potential new members meet up to one to two chapters to learn more about the values, traditions, sisterhood, and all aspects of the sororities they are invited back to.
