Phi Sigma Rho was founded with the vision of becoming the leading social sorority for women in engineering and engineering technology, fostering lifelong friendships, scholarship, and encouragement among its members. Our mission is to redefine sorority life through engineering through their pillars of connecting through an inherent spirit, united by a common goal and overall be energized by leading dynamic lives. 

Theresa Stronach shares, "I chose Phi Rho, because you will never meet a group of kinder, more helpful, and genuine people.

I first met everyone at open house last semester, and there wasn’t an awkward interaction or any kind of bad feeling in my stomach — I just felt happy to be around everyone, and learn why they love Phi Rho so much. Since being in PSR, I have only come to love it more. I feel like we are all one big family, and it was extremely beneficial to me to find it so early while being at college.

I’m excited for the upcoming class and to be able to watch everyone fall in love with Phi Rho as I did! I’m also looking forward to the opportunity to help the sorority grow as philanthropy director this semester. For anyone on the fence of rushing, just show up, and give it a try! It can never hurt to put yourself out there and try something new! I’m so grateful I did that! “
