Continuous Open Bidding
What Is Continuous Open Bidding?
Continuous Open Bidding is an informal process that occurs after Primary recruitment in the Fall and during the Spring semester where chapters recruit potential new members outside the formal recruitment process. The COB process varies by each chapter participating (ex. meet and greets with members of the chapter, informal gatherings, one-on-one conversations with chapter members, coffee dates with initiated members, etc.). Additionally, which chapters participating in COB varies each semester based on total. Overall, continuous open bidding provides an opportunity for women to join a sorority outside the primary recruitment process.
More information regarding Fall and Spring COB (when COB will take place, what chapters will be participating in COB, etc.) will be released after Primary Recruitment.
