Love Letter From Our VP of Recruitment (Internal)
It makes me so happy that so many of you want to join the Panhellenic community! When I got to Northeastern, I didn’t know anyone and I was far away from everything and everyone I had grown up with. I chose to try recruitment (with some skepticism) and it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It brings me incredible amounts of joy to know that so many of you are about to take the same step.
Through Panhellenic, I’ve met my best friends, I’ve pushed myself to find my dream co-ops, and I’ve developed leadership skills that I never expected, all while being surrounded and encouraged by amazing women. Having friends to laugh with, learn from, and rely on is what has made my time in Greek Life so special.
Recruitment can certainly be overwhelming and stressful, but what you gain from joining this community is infinitely worth it. Every girl that you talk to during recruitment has been where you are and will understand what you’re feeling. There is a home for each of you in Panhellenic and if you follow your heart, I know you’ll find yours!
